In april wiseup explores the the book ‘dj culture in the mix’ in an interview with one of the editors Hillegonda Reitveld, who is a scholar for dance music and dj culture. She was a musician herself and worked in the legendary hacienda club in manchester where she was witnessing the evolving uk club culture.

Later wiseup checks out the line up of the upcoming heart of noise festival, which could also be named “he art of noise festival” as there are hardly any women present. But there is Holly Herndon and some tracks of her great debut album will be played. Also of course new releases from hiphip to electronica will be introduced.
