New radio series: “Wise Up! Otto. On the past and present of Baumgartner Höhe”
This series explores my search for the hidden and largely forgotten – or even suppressed – past of the Baumgartner Höhe, the former psychiatric hospital and care home for the mentally and neurologically ill known as ‘Am Steinhof’, and also included the so-called youth care facility ‘Am Spiegelgrund’ – known today as the Otto Wagner Areal in Vienna. Each time I speak with different experts (in German).

Wiseup! Radio was established in 2002 at the free radio in Hamburg FSK. From 2010 there were no more limits regarding genre. Since its inception it has been transmitted at various free radios. At the moment its home is Radio Orange in Vienna (AT) and is transmitted irregularly at Radio Proton in Vorarlberg (AT) and FSK Radio Hamburg (DE).
