End of August the network female:pressure presented their new facts counting on female presence in electronic music festivals at Pop-Kultur Festival Berlin. WiseUp cut-up some excerpts on the outcome of the survey.
In October WiseUp made a trip to UH Festival in Budapest, a festival for adventurous music, where Monika Werkstatt played the opening concert of the festival. It was followed next day by a panel-talk moderated by journalist, musician, and curator Lucia Udvardyova of Eastern Daze who talked to Gudrun Gut and her label mates Barbara Morgenstern, Sonae and Danielle De Picciotto about the label anniversary of Monika Enterprise, the current project Monika Werkstatt and existential issues related to music and gender. This is complemented with an interview in which Lucia Udvardyova informs about her label Baba Vanga and her project Eastern Daze.
